Is the evil headmistress at Crunchem Hall Primary School, known for her extreme hatred towards children and education. She is a former Olympic athlete, tall and muscular, who throws children as punishment. Despite her outrageous methods, Miss Trunchbull gets away with tormenting her students until Matilda discovers her abusive past with Miss Honey, accusing her of murder and financial exploitation. Matilda uses her newly discovered telekinetic powers to scare Miss Trunchbull into returning the house and fortune she stole from Miss Honey, successfully driving her away from the school and the Honeys’ house forever. This act marks the end of Miss Trunchbull’s reign of terror at Crunchem Hall.
