Synopsis

During the First Jewish-Roman War, Jewish Sicarii Rebels holed up in the Fortress of Masada just under a thousand strong. The Romans, with most of the 10th Fretensis Legion, and some five thousand Auxiliaries, are coming to root them out and capture the fortress.

Description of Eleazar ben Ya’ir:

Leader of the Sicarii Rebels in Masada, Eleazar is ready and waiting for what he sees as a do or die situation against the Romans. If they win this pivotal battle, the Jews will be one large step closer to freedom from the yoke of the Romans. If they lose, they’ll all likely be executed for the crimes they committed in the onset of the war.
