Marvel The Gifted

Mutants on the Run

The Gifted follows a suburban family whose lives are turned upside down when they discover their teenage children possess mutant abilities. Forced to go on the run after their powers are exposed, the Strucker family seeks refuge with an underground network of mutants called the Mutant Underground. As they navigate a dangerous world where mutants are hunted and persecuted by the government agency Sentinel Services, the family must learn to survive, trust their newfound allies, and fight back against systemic oppression. The series explores themes of acceptance, identity, and resistance as ordinary people with extraordinary powers become unlikely heroes. Alongside the Strucker family, a diverse cast of mutants with unique abilities—from telepathy to molecular manipulation—band together to protect their community and expose the truth about mutant persecution. The show balances intimate family drama with high-stakes action, examining what it means to be different in a world that fears you, while questioning the morality of those in power.
