Following the events of FFH, Peter is proved innocent after Jennifer Walters helps him in court and SHIELD alters footage to make Peter appear present during events of FFH. After the trial, he lands another internship, this time at Oscorp. While snooping around, he finds that Oscorp is participating in illegal business procedures. Norman reaises this, and after further research, uses his own tech to prove that footage from FFH was altered and that Peter is indeed Spider-Man. He assembles a team of six villains to take Spider-Man down, including himself, Kraven, Vulture, Rhino, Scorpion, and a Mysterio, who Norman has provided with smaller, more elusive drones and ways to combat Peter in real time. Together, they go after Peter.
