Fan Casting Winter Soldier in Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday

Bucky Barnes, WWII vet and Steve Rogers’ friend, became Winter Soldier after a fall, enhanced by HYDRA’s Super Soldier Serum and brainwashed. He killed for HYDRA until Rogers freed him in 2014. Framed for a bombing, he sparked the Avengers Civil War, later cured in Wakanda. Revived post-Blip, he fought Thanos and joined Sam Wilson against Flag Smashers. In Congress, Barnes targeted Valentina Allegra de Fontaine’s crimes, forming the Thunderbolts with Yelena Belova to save Manhattan from Bob Reynolds’ Void. Redubbed New Avengers by de Fontaine after saving Bob, they saw the Fantastic Four’s ship in Earth’s orbit 14 months later.
