Synopsis

Logan is the living weapon, a member of Weapon X, the man with no past and no sense of identity outside of that title. Nathaniel Essex (Mr. Sinister) runs Weapon X, on the surface a sanctuary for mutants but actually an excuse to kidnap and experiment on them. When Jean Grey helps Logan remember a time before Weapon X, he goes on the run. Logan seeks the truth of who he was before Essex, in an effort to “cure” him of his mutant gene and nearly accidentally killing him, turned him into the Living Weapon. By understanding who he was, Logan hopes to control his abilities and become a better man. His memories guide him to Madripoor, Japan, and the Canadian wilderness. Weapon X gives chase, determined to drag him back and make him forget again. Logan begins this story believing his past will fix him. He ends it understanding that he was broken by Essex, and it’s never too late to be more than a weapon.
