Fan Casting Captain America VIII in Marvel Redux

A social worker from Harlem, Sam Wilson had witnessed his father, a minister, die when he was a child. As an adult, he would wind up being stuck on Exile, a Caribbean island where the Red Skull hid out. Working with Steve Rogers' Captain America, they beat the Skull, and Sam would become the Falcon, eventually given telepathic communication with birds, especially his pet falcon, Redwing. For a time, Steve Rogers lost his link to the Super-Soldier Serum, and Sam stepped up to become Captain America. Even now, as they share the mantle, Sam makes use of his own shield as well as his special flight harness to help him fight injustice.
