Hercules first appears when pulled from the past by the villain Immortus to battle the Thunder God Thor.[11] This story is not referenced in the character's next appearance, which depicts Hercules and Thor as apparently meeting for the first time.[12] The discrepancy is eventually explained when it is revealed that the first "Hercules" encountered was actually an alien Space Phantom in disguise.read more
