Kaiven was kidnapped at age three and brought to the Red Room Academy. He began missions when he was seven years old, and became known throughout Russia. Then he was assigned to kill his mother. Unable to do so, Kaiven allows himself to be captured by SHIELD and becomes an asset on Strike Team Charlie. In 2013, when the team was disbanded, he became the pilot for Strike Team Omega. He also flew as the pilot for the Avengers in the Battle of New York. During the fall of SHIELD, he assisted Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff in defeating the threat of Project Insight. After the event of A2 Kaiven became a permanent member of the team.
