Description of The Wolverine (Ryota Kurogane):

Ryota is a Japanese mutant with retractable onyx claws and an accelerated healing factor. Born into a Yakuza family, he rebelled against his violent lineage and now fights against organized crime and mutant oppression. Personality: Ryota is gruff, honorable, and fiercely loyal. He struggles to overcome the violence in his past. Key Differences: His claws are composed of a unique mineral, Onyxite, which channels dark energy. Ryota’s combat style combines samurai swordsmanship and street brawling. His arc focuses on redemption and forging a new identity outside his family.
