Batman and his two allies, Batgirl and Robin (Damian Wayne), are told that The Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Bane, Mr. Freeze and The Riddler are currently robbing Gotham's Central Bank. When Batman and his teammates are about to turn them in, both them and the villains are suddenly transported into an entirely different universe, one that took place in New York instead of Gotham.
