In Chairverse, William "Bill" Foster is a scientist at the Starr Corporation, assigned to be "lab partners" with Hank Pym. Though at first, they do not get along, as Hank works on projects by himself and attempts to ignore Foster's efforts to get involved, eventually Hank learns to trust Bill and he becomes a valued partner. Foster's realism, stern and rigid nature balances out Hank's distractable and often self-sabotaging personality as well as Janet's tendency to fly into situations with pure passion and not enough consideration.
