Description of Power Man (Lucas "Luke" Cage):
Lucas "Luke" Cage is a former convict from Harlem who was unfairly incarcerated, having been illegally tested on in a prison experiment that gave him unbreakable skin and superhuman strength. Using his powers, he explored the super hero scene as a business, acting as a Hero for Hire. Cage has faced several adversities to prove his worth and innocence. Establishing a reputation as the street-level warrior Power Man, he embraced an alternative niche of vigilantism by addressing issues ordinary civilians struggle with. Across the years, Cage has channeled his determination into helping others while also integrating himself into the broader and more conventional super hero community.
