Mario and Luigi, two Italian Plumbers from Brooklyn, get sucked into a shower drain and appear in the Mushroom Kingdom. They meet Toad, who tells them that only Princess Peach can help them get home, but she was kidnapped by Bowser. The brothers and Toad then embark on a journey as Toad trains Mario and Luigi on how to super jump and use fire flowers, all in the hope to defeat Bowser and save Princess Peach.
