Synopsis

Based on the original 1994 Mexican Telenovela of the same name, Marimar is a young Anglo-Mexican girl who falls in love with Sergio, a young law student. But their happiness is cut short when her grandparents are murdered by a mysterious arsonist and they are arrested. Once they reunite in the city of Bristol, both take on new identities to avenge themselves against those who ruined their lives, including Sergio's fugitive father and sister, solve a string of murders and uncover a past that not only brings them closer, but leads them on a mission they never imagined: To save their native England.

Description of Magda Angelica Perez Olivares Aldama Santibañez (Nurse Lucille Narvaez):

The tritagonist of the series, Angelica is the adoptive older sister of Sergio and the youngest of a coalition that guards a secret past from him and his wife Marimar. Affectionately known as Angie, she does everything in her power to defend them from a series of criminals, regardless of being a primary target of Marimar's quest for revenge. As Nurse Lucille Narvaez, Angelica feeds the police anonymous tips to help the couple in their war against crime. When Angelica is taken hostage, Marimar and Sergio discover the truth of Angelica's origins.
