Clark Kent grows up in Smallville, burdened by guilt over an accident that paralyzed Lana Lang, leading to his isolation and fear of his powers. Guided by his father, Jonathan Kent, Clark learns to uphold his moral values despite societal judgment. As an adult in Metropolis, he works at the Daily Planet, where he befriends Jimmy Olsen and develops feelings for Lois Lane. During an Arctic expedition, he discovers a Kryptonian scout ship, where a hologram of Jor-El reveals his heritage. Embracing his destiny, he dons the Superman suit and begins saving people at night. General Zod arrives, demanding Kal-El’s surrender. Clark submits but escapes during a fierce battle on Zod’s ship. Zod retaliates by attacking Smallville, resulting in the death of Clark’s adoptive mother, Martha Kent. In a moment of redemption, Clark saves Lana, who forgives him, and then he flies to Metropolis to confront Zod’s world engine. During the climactic battle, Clark minimizes destruction while pushing Zod into a Phantom Zone portal, ultimately saving Earth. Although hailed as a hero, public opinion about Superman remains divided. After attending his mother’s funeral, Clark spots a falling Wayne Enterprises satellite and races to the rescue. Post Credits: On Apokolips, a Parademon reports to a hooded figure about Earth’s location. The figure, revealed to be Darkseid, ominously replies, “Very well.”
