Jack and his sister Annie have trouble not trying to fight with each other and when they leave off to park and go deep into the woods discover a book-filled tree house, and, when Jack opens a book about dinosaurs, discover that it can magically transport them back in time to see real dinosaurs. They soon start jumping into deferent time periods to find a way to back home by collecting a bunch of objects from those lands and meet the creator of the tree house.
