Marty, once comfortable but bored in the Central Park Zoo, decides to venture into the wild after his tenth birthday. Though he initially enjoys the adventure, he soon learns how harsh the wild can be. Marty, a dreamer and free spirit, stands out from other zebras and is always enthusiastic about new adventures. Unlike his friends, he is ecstatic about being in the wild and is fearless, even using a cannon to save Stefano. As a kid, Marty was more focused on keeping his habitat organized and perfect.
