Synopsis

In early 1800s Germany, a little girl is startled awake by screams coming from her father's basement. Trapped in her home with vengeful souls, she sets out to find the only family she has left. In 2010s Japan, a teenage student wonders where their classmate may have disappeared to. And then, in a blink, the class is in another world, where monsters pick them off one by one. Connecting both timelines, a mysterious man watches human insanity unfold.
