Kokona Harukawa is one of the students at Akademi High. She is a social butterfly, and although she finds her strange, reaches out to Ayano. Kokona is secretly participating in compensated dating (also known as Enjo kōsai). Although she does not enjoy it, Kokona only engages in such an activity to try and help her father out of debt. Her biggest regret is getting her best friend Saki involved with her issues. Kokona admires Kizana Sunobu, leader of the Drama Club, and joined the club to learn how to be more like her.
