Metis was a Titan and a Fertility Goddess. She was the creator of Demeter, Hestia, and Hera. Sometime before the end of the war, she was devoured by her future son-in-law Zeus so that he could harness her power in order to defeat his father Kronos. Metis is a large deity with dark orange hair and skin. She has a pair of stylized orange wings with brown lines at the edges. Her eyes are black with yellow sclera. Metis appeared to be kind and wise. In her first appearance, she encouraged Hera to help care for the wounded Hades, suggesting she was caring. When Persephone later meets her, she displays a cheeky and teasing side of her personality.
