Synopsis

Based on the M-rated action-horror video game. In a town called San Romero, high school cheerleader Juliet Starling is celebrating her 18th birthday with her tough and raunchy, yet loving, family. She has also invited her boyfriend, Nick Carlyle, to the party, which is also when he'll meet her family for the first time. But on that morning as she gets to school to meet Nick, Juliet notices that the school is infested with zombies. That's right, ZOMBIES! After Nick saves Juliet from being approached by one which results in him getting bitten, Juliet does risky move: decapitating him with her bedazzled chainsaw and performing a magical ritual on his head. After reviving a freaked out Nick, Juliet reveals that she and her family are zombie hunters. They also run into her old Sensei, who tells the pair that someone opened a portal to the dimension, Rotten World, by using black magic and explosives. They find the culprit, an expelled student who performs a dark ritual out of spite for his miserable life. The ritual involves waking up the Dark Purveyors, powerful zombies that are basically manifestations of different music genres. While trying to stop the madness, Juliet and Nick run into Juliet's trashy sisters, and her badass, yet overprotective father.

Rosalind is two years younger than Juliet. She just got her driver's license, which makes Juliet think that "the DMV are IDIOTS!" She is a manic girl who likes to make scrapbooks, and collect yeti skulls. Her secret dream is to meet Justin Bieber... and add his skull to her collection. At one point, Juliet said, "That pink hair dye must have worked its way to her brain." And her father said, "Hell, that girls knows trouble like apple knows pie."
