The scene flashes forward to the present, now showing Logan on top of a hill, overlooking the Xavier Institute. To his surprise, however, a certain someone comes to welcome him without him noticing. - It's good to see you, Logan. - ...Charles? You...don't seem surprised to see me. [He smiles] - Let's say...my intuition told me that I would see a moment like this. - ...I imagine. - Just because someone stumbles and gets lost along the way, doesn't mean they are lost forever. Before the screen fades to black, Logan smiles, before Xavier asks: - Can I think you'll stay this time? - ...As long as I'm in a good mood. The screen goes dark, along with the words: "Wolverine will return".
