Chun-Li, the first female fighter in the Street Fighter series, debuted in Street Fighter II as a skilled martial artist and Interpol officer seeking revenge for her father's death at the hands of M. Bison. Fascinated by martial arts from a young age, she mastered Tai Chi and Hongquan under her father's guidance, developing her own powerful kicking style. Becoming a detective at eighteen, Chun-Li joined Interpol to investigate Shadaloo, earning a reputation as the "black sheep" for her relentless pursuit of justice against the criminal organization.
