When Seymour buys a mysterious plant in an effort to save Mushnik's Skid Row Florists, he realizes that the only thing the plant eats is blood. He starts to feed the plant, whose name is Audrey II, and goes on a killing spree, so he can be with Audrey, "the only person he's ever loved."
