A young kid with a bit of an inventive side but sometimes gets in trouble, recently for stuff he didn't do. He has a bit of inventive side, but has some difficulties in school. He has troubles adjusting to his new town but when he meets Maurice it all changes big time, in more ways than one. He cares for his family, especially for his younger brother, Eric. When he is in the Monster World, he participates in all the fun and pranks that it allows, especially when he learns that his mother and father are entering kind of a rough patch. He soon finds, however, that the longer he stays in the monster world, the less he remembers his human life and the more monster like he becomes.
