Ultimately, Yan turns into a Distortion known as 얀샋ㄷ요무 (cipher for Distorted Yan). The film version of Yan was inspired by Feyd-Rautha (Austin Butler) from Dune: Part Two (2024), Cesar Catilina (Adam Driver) from Megalopolis (2024), Kikuo Tachibana (Ryo Yoshizawa) from Kokuho (2025), Noah Scanlon (Colin Firth) from Disclosure Day (2026) and Francis "Frank" Costello (Jack Nicholson) from The Departed (2006)
