Best friends Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney get into all sorts of misadventures in the 1950's and 60's. They start out as bottlecappers in a fictional Milwaukee brewery and move out to Burbank, California when they are replaced by a machine. Around to make things even more interesting and zany were a bunch of friends, relatives and neighbors.
