Last Quarter
Original manga by Ai Yazawa "Kagen no tsuki" & Netflix Films
On a quiet night beneath the last quarter moon, Lucy Mochizuki mysteriously vanishes, leaving her friends and family shattered. Drawn to an abandoned mansion, her spirit crosses paths with Adam Lang, a hauntingly beautiful musician trapped between the worlds of the living and the dead. Their bond grows into a fragile love that cannot last, tied to secrets from Adam’s tragic past. Meanwhile, Hethena K, a sensitive girl with second sight, begins hearing Lucy’s fading voice. With the help of her loyal childhood friend Mason, Lucy’s grieving boyfriend Tim Ace, and her best friend Saori, Hethena unravels a supernatural mystery that connects love, memory, and loss across two lifetimes. As the truth of Adam’s doomed romance with Samantha Kamijou emerges, Lucy and Adam must face the inevitable: some souls are destined only to meet under the moonlight—never to stay. The Last Quarter is a bittersweet tale of first love, eternal longing, and the fragile line between life and death.
