Soon after being kicked out of Ludwig's laboratory, troubled 13-year-old boy, Larry Koopa, goes to play outside, only to eventually get bored and be met by a voice, who asks him to find the five sacred keys to free his friends, the Starborn Quintuplets, so that they can enact an inter-universal force called "Comet-Side" stated to be the act of proving Larry is awesome. Larry, liking the idea, and having nothing better to do, agrees to help the voice collect the five sacred keys to free the Starborn Quintuplets so he can collect all 79 Power Comets and enact Comet-Side. Along the way, Larry goes through all kinds of crazy and unique situations he wouldn't go through on any normal day across five different chapters and a sequel with another five chapters. The other Koopalings have a part in the story starring as the main characters in their own side stories that connect to the main story. How will this story unfold? Who knows? In the story, Larry Koopa ends up getting Madoka Kaname constantly trying to help him once he drops little hints that something is amiss with his well being that might explain his behavior. It's a rocky road for her due to his lack of trust and high guard, but will Madoka be able to get to the root of what's causing these problems for Larry and help him?
