Larry Applerson
Netflix animated original series
Larry Applerson is a perpetually upbeat kid living in the vibrant, quirky town of Kricklenuts—a place where the ordinary meets the absurd. With his best friends Jenny, an anthropomorphic darkblue cat girl who’s also his crush, and the Kevins, a pair of mischievous twin brothers known for their perfectly coordinated style, Larry finds adventure around every corner. Alongside a cast of eccentric characters—including his loving mother Wanda, his memoryhonoring deceased father Barry, his cheeky Uncle Wally, spoilt sister Penny, and sweet Granny—the series weaves together slapstick humor, surreal scenarios, and moments of genuine heart. Even his pet cricket Harold, who inexplicably meows like a cat, adds to the town’s unique charm. From runins with a scheming nemesis to mishaps involving a band of quirky neighbors and mentors like the laidback surfer Paul, Larry’s world is one where every day promises a new story. It's "SpongeBob SquarePants" meets "The Simpsons".
