Synopsis

Hal Jordon lost his father and mother during a plane crash that they were on together. He was the only survivor. He is now a test pilot for Ferris Aircraft until he was fired for outing the CEO for corrupt black market deals. One day he discovers a ring from a dying alien and steps into the larger universe of The Green Lantern Corps

Description of Carol Ferris:

Carrol was Hal’s best friend growing up and they began dating. After a flight test goes wrong Hal discovers that the craft wasn’t ready and engineering knew it. When he finds out Carrol and her father are covering it up, he builds up the courage to testify against them to get justice for the dead pilot. Carrol is angry and her and Hal have a falling out. She is devastated that her father’s company has fallen.
