Marc Spector and his friend Frenchie raid a village in Sudan at the request of the Bushmaster. Frenchie revealed the intent of Bushmaster. After being wounded in battle, Spector laid shelter at the temple of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon, where Spector was blessed with the powers of The Moon Knight. Now Spector has unfinished business with Frenchie.
