The father (and, unfortunately, half brother) of Antigone and Izzy and the former, late president/ruler of Thebes. Following the scandal and his suicide, he has become one of the restored souls serving under Caeneus to defeat the Gods. Oedipus blames the Gods for the life he was given, and wants nothing more than to make his daughters/sisters proud of him again by personally killing one of the Gods. He is in charge of guarding the captured Ares. He also harbors a disdain for Odysseus.
