A man named Jean Hormack has lost his memories. He dosen't know who he is or where he came from, or how he came upon his peculiar circumstances Jean, seemingly for no reason, transforms into a powerful superhuman named "y" whenever in the presence of the beings reffered to as the police by the "unknown", a race of powerful monsters that have been causing murders around Gramercy Heights, targeting certian people as their prey.
