Heavily based off of Max Landis's (only good) work on Superman: American Alien, this Kal-El is a decidely greener version of the character, who, while he still effuses that Boy Scout charm, should have a reckless and endearingly awkward side to himself. Despite all his incredible power, he's still getting used to being a man the people of Earth look up to (though he's more settled into that role since the Superman solo film)- leaving an opening for the more seasoned and more calculating Protex on Earth's metahuman scene.
