nubbo Plot: It has been a year since the death of Jason Todd. And Bruce Wayne is worse for wear. In the year since Jason’s death Bruce has pushed everything and everyone away. He has become distant with Alfred and he and Dick Grayson are no longer on speaking terms. Bruce does this not out of anger, but out of fear. Fear of losing those he holds dear. He has also begun to lose faith in the Batman persona as he believes that if he is to continue onward like this than more of the people he loves will perish. So he secludes himself in the Batcave until the next mission arrives. However, on one mission while fighting Deathstroke and several other super powered villains, Bruce is assisted by the Big Blue Boy-scout himself: Superman! After this event, Alfred convinces Bruce that if he is to stop the Legion than he is going to have to embrace being a leader again and embrace his fears of letting people back into his life and form a team with Superman and other heroes.

nubbo Bruce’s journey is him having to move on from his guilt and pain in order to become a better hero, a better Batman. At first we will see that Bruce deals with the loss of Jason not by being more violent or vengeful but by feeling more vulnerable and human. However after meeting and forming a bond (one might even say a new family) with the league, Bruce learns that his greatest strength is his ability to inspire hope in the hearts of those he protects. At the end of the film, Wonder Woman will speak to Bruce and let him know that Jason would be proud of him and his efforts to make the world safer.
