After eliminating Ares once and for all, Wonder Woman was forced to take his place as God of War and left the mortal world. Flash disappeared into the Speedforce after his final battle against Reverse-Flash and the other demonic speedsters. Most of the Green Lanterns are unreachable because they're busy on the other side of the universe. All this, plus the fact that a large number of heroes are unavailable at the moment, forces the Martian Mahunter to form a new form of Justice League. This team, mainly composed of new members, will have to fight against enemies, some of whom have faces that were until recently friendly, at International level!
