Synopsis

Following the Justice League’s struggle to break free from Amanda Waller’s grip, a new, cosmic threat emerges—the ancient entity known as The Centre, a primordial force that predates humanity and views humankind as a blight upon the Earth. Having watched from the planet’s core as civilization grew and spread, The Centre now awakens with the intent to cleanse the Earth of humanity’s influence. Waller, realizing the scale of the impending threat, reluctantly turns to the Justice League, whom she had sought to control or eliminate, as humanity’s last line of defense.

Description of John Stewart (Green Lantern):

John Stewart brings extensive experience from his past investigations into the Centre cult, a group that reveres The Centre as a god-like entity and believes in humanity’s eventual destruction as a form of “cleansing.” During the events of the Lanterns Max series, Stewart infiltrated and dismantled parts of this cult, gaining valuable knowledge of their rituals, beliefs, and insights into The Centre’s powers. Now, as The Centre emerges, Stewart uses his firsthand experience to guide the League in anticipating the cult’s moves and understanding The Centre’s motives.
