Synopsis

Out of options and allies, the Justice League, having failed to defeat thirteen different versions of Brainiac twice in a row, decide to call upon twelve alternate versions of their own team to fight back against the Brainiacs and their endless terminator armies, on the behalf of Mar Novu, otherwise known as ''the Monitor''. But little does the League know that casualties are imminent, even if they secure a victory against the Brainiacs...

Description of Billy Batson (Shazam!):

Unfortunately, Billy Batson, Freddy Freeman, and Mary Bromfield are destined not to make it out of the battle alive, as they are captured by Brainiac and mind-flayed. After witnessing Aquaman's brutal death, Shazam and his friends fight back against the mind-flaying and attempt to use their powers on Brainiac, but Brainiac foresees this and brutally executes all three of them by mind-flaying them to the point where their bodies become nothing but charred husks of what they once were.
