The Justice League has suffered their first real defeat. Darkseid obtained the Anti-Life Equation and used it's power to remake the entire multiverse into the image of Apokolips and assimilate most life forms into his Parademon army. It's up to the remaining heroes to defeat Darkseid and undo his damage.
