Individually the heroes begin to investigate which leads them to find Professor Ivo who works in the Cadmus project, which disappear people and try to obtain the metahuman gene, to create an army and weapons to defend the planet from a future attack extraterrestrial but the Justice League discovers that there is also a project called AMAZO to finish obtaining the genes of the superheroes, in its facilities Ray Palmer is kidnapped who is forced to work investigating the way that AMAZO has the ability to copy and acquire any skill.
