At the Montana dig site, Alan Grant gives a creepy speech about how Velociraptors hunt and kill to a volunteer boy. It turned out that boy was young Owen Grady. Owen takes his advice seriously for the rest of his life. After serving in the Navy, he accepts a call to duty to rescue survivors on Isla Sorna, ready to face down living raptors.
