In rural America in 1967, a drifter by the name of Ben escapes from a diner after it's been overrun by walking, flesh eating ghouls that seem to have appeared out of nowhere. As he hightails it to a farmhouse where there's a gas pump, he meets Barbara, a young woman who had just lost her older brother, and other survivors hiding out in the basement, which leads to an internal conflict between Ben and Harry Cooper as the ghouls begin to grow in number outside the farmhouse walls.read more
