After a diner encounter with a mysterious, tattooed stranger triggers his latent supernatural abilities and turns his hair silver, orphaned outcast Dante discovers he is the half-human son of Sparda—a legendary demon who rebelled against the demon lord Mundus. Framed for murder and hunted by both the police and a secret society of demon-hunting knights, Dante teams up with his best friend Sera to follow a cryptic trail left by his father. The journey leads from London's museums to ancient Stonehenge, through a portal into a twisted demon realm, where Dante must embrace his demonic nature, wield his father's sword Rebellion and the twin guns Ebony & Ivory, and confront Mundus to save humanity—and himself.
