Fan Casting The Master in John Carpenter's Fallout

The Master is a failed Vault-Tec applicant who created the Forced Evolutionary Virus to survive radiation. Now a hulking, articulate mutant, he rules the L.A. jungle like a mafia don from the ruins of Cedars-Sinai. His goal: dip "pristine" humans in FEV vats to create a fertile master race, as his current mutants are sterile. He is a philosopher-zealot, believing himself the next step in evolution. He recognizes the Overseer as the war's architect and destroys him, but is ultimately killed by the Hero. His empire is a cattle farm for humanity, and his tragedy is that he cannot see he is the war's final, monstrous consequence.
