Once a high-ranking jinn, Dzhir fell from grace due to his questionable interpretation of "wish fulfillment".(Let's just say his ideas of "helping" usually resulted in disasters.) Banished and sealed in a lamp centuries ago, he's finally free- and determined to reclaim his former glory, if only he could get his magic under control. He sees Ramin as his "business partner", but in reality, he's a chaotic roommate who keeps making things worse. His relationship with Leyla is even rockier- she's the only one who truly understands what he used to be, and she doesn't trust him one bit.
