Synopsis

A live action movie script that was written by Jim Henson and Jerry Juhl in the 70's, but never produced. Tale of Sand tells the story of Mac, an average joe who suddenly wakes up in a rural, Southwestern US town. He is tasked with travelling across the desert to reach Eagle Mountain. He is pursued by a sinister but elegant man named Patch along with many other adversaries. Later adapted into a graphic novel by Ramón K Pérez. NOTE: Some characters are given placeholder names because I don't know their actual names after reading the graphic novel.

Description of Mustachioed Sheriff (Real name unknown):

The sheriff of the town in which Melrose Mernly lives. He accuses Mac of being a rapist after his meeting with The Blonde (which is completely untrue, as Mac never makes any advances on her.) He saves Mac from being hanged, only to force him into a duel with Patch.
