Description of M (Bond’s Boss):

M is the codename for that of the figure in charge of operations at MI6. M also manages and bosses around 007, so an actor who can be stern, sharp and strict heightens the role. M can also have a softer side which can be let out every now and again, showing that though the character can be seen as mean and bossy, they really do care about Bond and the mission.
