Fan Casting"Roots" In Real Life (1826-2024)

This is a kind of strange concept: I wanted to adapt 1977 TV miniseries "Roots" and the 1976 novel by which it is based, and that is actually based on the real story of its author Alex Haley, in a real-life, real-time timespan of 200 years casting people as if the actors were the real Kinte family. I readapted the timespan to end in 2024 instead of 1976, so it also starts later. Note: not all people I casted are actors, since I don't know actors form the 1820s.read more
